Meet: JR

Name: J.R. "western bacon cheeseburger" Robertson
Age: 30
City you live in: Visalia
Job: Entrepreneur

What word would best describe you: PassionateLeader

Describe the perfect day: At the lake with all my friends water skiing, wake boarding and laying out. In between runs reading a good book, listening to great music, eating good food and playing horse shoes.

Who are the top 3 most influential people in your life: Jesus, Grandpa Lamb, Dad

What’s going to be playing through your headphones on this trip: Mumford and Sons and Bethel Live

Why did you sign up for this trip: Since the earthquake, I've had a strong calling to go help. No opportunities arose until Cornerstone of Livermore announced they were sending groups. I felt like I couldn't pass up this opportunity to serve.

What excites you most about this trip: The great group of people who will be serving alongside me and the opportunity to serve Haiti.

What are you nervous about in this trip: Food portions and sleeping arrangements (Jerrod talks in his sleep AND walks around in tighty-whitey's)

How can people pray for you through this trip: Pray that the language barrier will be broken down and that the people of Haiti will see Jesus Christ through the love our team shows.
